The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.3.92; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

निर्जिती-करणं युद्धे वस्त्रे धृत्वास्य कर्षणम् ।
पुष्पाद्याच्छेदनं हस्तात् कृष्णेन स्व-प्रसाधनम् ।
हस्ताहस्ति-प्रसङ्गाद्याः प्रोक्ताः प्रिय-सख-क्रियाः ॥३.३.९२॥

nirjitī-karaṇaṃ yuddhe vastre dhṛtvāsya karṣaṇam |
puṣpādyācchedanaṃ hastāt kṛṣṇena sva-prasādhanam |
hastāhasti-prasaṅgādyāḥ proktāḥ priya-sakha-kriyāḥ
||3.3.92||

English translation

“Defeating Kṛṣṇa in battle, pulling His cloth, stealing flowers and other things from His hand, being decorated by Kṛṣṇa and hand-to-hand combat are the activities of the priya-sakhas (friends of equal age to Kṛṣṇa).”
