The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 3.2.112; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

मोह, यथा हरि-भक्ति-सुधोदये —
अयोग्यम् आत्मानम् इतीश-दर्शने
स मन्यमानस् तद्-अनाप्ति-कातरः ।
उद्बेल-दुःखार्णव-मग्न-मानसः
श्रुताश्रुधारो द्विज मूर्च्छितापतत् ॥३.२.११२॥moha, yathā hari-bhakti-sudhodaye —
ayogyam ātmānam itīśa-darśane
sa manyamānas tad-anāpti-kātaraḥ |
udbela-duḥkhārṇava-magna-mānasaḥ
śrutāśrudhāro dvija mūrcchitāpatat ||3.2.112||
English translation
An example of moha (blank mind, fainting) in utkaṇṭham, from Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya:
“O brāhmaṇa! Thinking himself unqualified for seeing the Lord, Prahlāda, grieved because he could not attain Him, drowned in an ocean of intense suffering. Tears flowing from his eyes, he fainted.”
