The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.379; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथा वा —
कलयत हरिर् अध्वना सखायः
स्फुटम् अमुना यमुना-तटीम् अयासीत् ।
हरति पद-ततिर् यद्-अक्षिणी मे
ध्वज-कुलिशाकुश-पङ्कजाङ्कितेयम् ॥२.१.३७९॥

yathā vā —
kalayata harir adhvanā sakhāyaḥ
sphuṭam amunā yamunā-taṭīm ayāsīt |
harati pada-tatir yad-akṣiṇī me
dhvaja-kuliśākuśa-paṅkajāṅkiteyam
||2.1.379||

English translation

Another example:
“O friends! Understand that Kṛṣṇa has gone to the bank of the Yamunā by this path for certain, because the markings of the flag, thunderbolt, goad and lotus are attracting my eyes.”
