The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.378; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

अथ पदाङ्कः, यथा श्री-दशमे (१०.३८.२६) —
तद्-दर्शनाह्लाद-विवृद्ध-सम्भ्रमः
प्रेम्णोर्ध्व-रोमाश्रु-कलाकुलेक्षणः ।
रथाद् अवस्कन्द्य स तेष्व् अचेष्टत
प्रभोर् अमून्य् अङ्घ्रि-रजांस्य् अहो इति ॥२.१.३७८॥atha padāṅkaḥ, yathā śrī-daśame (10.38.26) —
tad-darśanāhlāda-vivṛddha-sambhramaḥ
premṇordhva-romāśru-kalākulekṣaṇaḥ |
rathād avaskandya sa teṣv aceṣṭata
prabhor amūny aṅghri-rajāṃsy aho iti ||2.1.378||
English translation
An example of His footprints, from the Tenth Canto of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam
[10.38.26]:
“Increasingly agitated by ecstasy at seeing the Lord's footprints, his bodily hairs standing on end because of his pure love, and his eyes filled with tears, Akrūra jumped down from his chariot and began rolling about among those footprints, exclaiming, ‘Ah, this is the dust from my master's feet!’ ”
