उ॒द्नो ह्र॒दम॑पिब॒ज्जर्हृ॑षाण॒: कूटं॑ स्म तृं॒हद॒भिमा॑तिमेति । प्र मु॒ष्कभा॑र॒: श्रव॑ इ॒च्छमा॑नोऽजि॒रं बा॒हू अ॑भर॒त्सिषा॑सन् ॥
उद्नो ह्रदमपिबज्जर्हृषाणः कूटं स्म तृंहदभिमातिमेति । प्र मुष्कभारः श्रव इच्छमानोऽजिरं बाहू अभरत्सिषासन् ॥
udno hradam apibaj jarhṛṣāṇaḥ kūṭaṃ sma tṛṃhad abhimātim eti | pra muṣkabhāraḥ śrava icchamāno 'jiram bāhū abharat siṣāsan ||
English translation:
“Rejoicing, he drank up the pool of water, he cleft the mountain peak, he went against the enemy;endowed with vigour, eager for fame, assailing the quick-moving (foe), he seized him with his two arms.”
