तेभ्यो॑ गो॒धा अ॒यथं॑ कर्षदे॒तद्ये ब्र॒ह्मण॑: प्रति॒पीय॒न्त्यन्नै॑: । सि॒म उ॒क्ष्णो॑ऽवसृ॒ष्टाँ अ॑दन्ति स्व॒यं बला॑नि त॒न्व॑: शृणा॒नाः ॥
तेभ्यो गोधा अयथं कर्षदेतद्ये ब्रह्मणः प्रतिपीयन्त्यन्नैः । सिम उक्ष्णोऽवसृष्टाँ अदन्ति स्वयं बलानि तन्वः शृणानाः ॥
tebhyo godhā ayathaṃ karṣad etad ye brahmaṇaḥ pratipīyanty annaiḥ | sima ukṣṇo 'vasṛṣṭām̐ adanti svayam balāni tanvaḥ śṛṇānāḥ ||
English translation:
“Gāyatrī drew it away without difficulty, for the good of those (gods) who, (satisfied) with the viandsof Indra, retaliate the injuries (of the enemies of the gods); they devour all the sprinkling (Soma libations) left (byIndra), spontaneously destroying the armies and bodies (of the enemy).”
