Rig Veda 9.78.2

इन्द्रा॑य सोम॒ परि॑ षिच्यसे॒ नृभि॑र्नृ॒चक्षा॑ ऊ॒र्मिः क॒विर॑ज्यसे॒ वने॑ । पू॒र्वीर्हि ते॑ स्रु॒तय॒: सन्ति॒ यात॑वे स॒हस्र॒मश्वा॒ हर॑यश्चमू॒षद॑: ॥
इन्द्राय सोम परि षिच्यसे नृभिर्नृचक्षा ऊर्मिः कविरज्यसे वने । पूर्वीर्हि ते स्रुतयः सन्ति यातवे सहस्रमश्वा हरयश्चमूषदः ॥
indrāya soma pari ṣicyase nṛbhir nṛcakṣā ūrmiḥ kavir ajyase vane | pūrvīr hi te srutayaḥ santi yātave sahasram aśvā harayaś camūṣadaḥ ||

English translation:

“You are effused by the priests, Soma, for Indra; you the observer of men, stimulated, intelligent, are immersed in the water; many are the paths for you to follow, infinite are the spreading green-tinted streams alighting on the cups.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Many are the paths for you to follow: or, 'there are ancient paths for you to go to Indra, and a thousand bay horses standing in the cups'].
