ता जि॒ह्वया॒ सद॒मेदं सु॑मे॒धा आ यद्वां॑ स॒त्यो अ॑र॒तिॠ॒ते भूत् । तद्वां॑ महि॒त्वं घृ॑तान्नावस्तु यु॒वं दा॒शुषे॒ वि च॑यिष्ट॒मंह॑: ॥
ता जिह्वया सदमेदं सुमेधा आ यद्वां सत्यो अरतिॠते भूत् । तद्वां महित्वं घृतान्नावस्तु युवं दाशुषे वि चयिष्टमंहः ॥
tā jihvayā sadam edaṃ sumedhā ā yad vāṃ satyo aratir ṛte bhūt | tad vām mahitvaṃ ghṛtānnāv astu yuvaṃ dāśuṣe vi cayiṣṭam aṃhaḥ ||
English translation:
“The wise man always (solicits) you his prayers for this (supply of water), when approaching you sincer in sacrifice; may your magnanimity be such that you, the feeders upon ghī, may exterminate sin in the donor (of the oblation);”
