विश्वा॒ रोधां॑सि प्र॒वत॑श्च पू॒र्वीर्द्यौॠ॒ष्वाज्जनि॑मन्रेजत॒ क्षाः । आ मा॒तरा॒ भर॑ति शु॒ष्म्या गोर्नृ॒वत्परि॑ज्मन्नोनुवन्त॒ वाता॑: ॥
विश्वा रोधांसि प्रवतश्च पूर्वीर्द्यौॠष्वाज्जनिमन्रेजत क्षाः । आ मातरा भरति शुष्म्या गोर्नृवत्परिज्मन्नोनुवन्त वाताः ॥
viśvā rodhāṃsi pravataś ca pūrvīr dyaur ṛṣvāj janiman rejata kṣāḥ | ā mātarā bharati śuṣmy ā gor nṛvat parijman nonuvanta vātāḥ ||

English translation:

“All the high plural ces, and the many low paces, the heaven and the earth, trembled (through fear) of the mighty (Indra) at his birth; the strong (Indra) cherishes the parents of the moving (Sun), and the winds, like men, make a noise in their peregrination.”
