अमू॑रो॒ होता॒ न्य॑सादि वि॒क्ष्व१॒॑ग्निर्म॒न्द्रो वि॒दथे॑षु॒ प्रचे॑ताः । ऊ॒र्ध्वं भा॒नुं स॑वि॒तेवा॑श्रे॒न्मेते॑व धू॒मं स्त॑भाय॒दुप॒ द्याम् ॥
अमूरो होता न्यसादि विक्ष्वग्निर्मन्द्रो विदथेषु प्रचेताः । ऊर्ध्वं भानुं सवितेवाश्रेन्मेतेव धूमं स्तभायदुप द्याम् ॥
amūro hotā ny asādi vikṣv agnir mandro vidatheṣu pracetāḥ | ūrdhvam bhānuṃ savitevāśren meteva dhūmaṃ stabhāyad upa dyām ||
English translation:
“The unperplexed, the sagacious, exhilarating Agni, the ministrant priest, has been plural ced among men for (the celebration of) sacrifices; like the sun, he spreads light above, and props the smoke above the sky like a pillar.”
