Rig Veda 3.33.6

इन्द्रो॑ अ॒स्माँ अ॑रद॒द्वज्र॑बाहु॒रपा॑हन्वृ॒त्रं प॑रि॒धिं न॒दीना॑म् । दे॒वो॑ऽनयत्सवि॒ता सु॑पा॒णिस्तस्य॑ व॒यं प्र॑स॒वे या॑म उ॒र्वीः ॥
इन्द्रो अस्माँ अरदद्वज्रबाहुरपाहन्वृत्रं परिधिं नदीनाम् । देवोऽनयत्सविता सुपाणिस्तस्य वयं प्रसवे याम उर्वीः ॥
indro asmām̐ aradad vajrabāhur apāhan vṛtram paridhiṃ nadīnām | devo 'nayat savitā supāṇis tasya vayam prasave yāma urvīḥ ||

English translation:

“The rivers speak; Indra, the wielder of the thunder-bolt, dug our channels when he slew Ahi the blocker-up of rivers; the divine and well-handed Savitā has led us (on our path), and obedient tohis commands we flow (as) ample (streams).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
