अ॒ग्निं सु॑दी॒तिं सु॒दृशं॑ गृ॒णन्तो॑ नम॒स्याम॒स्त्वेड्यं॑ जातवेदः । त्वां दू॒तम॑र॒तिं ह॑व्य॒वाहं॑ दे॒वा अ॑कृण्वन्न॒मृत॑स्य॒ नाभि॑म् ॥
अग्निं सुदीतिं सुदृशं गृणन्तो नमस्यामस्त्वेड्यं जातवेदः । त्वां दूतमरतिं हव्यवाहं देवा अकृण्वन्नमृतस्य नाभिम् ॥
agniṃ sudītiṃ sudṛśaṃ gṛṇanto namasyāmas tveḍyaṃ jātavedaḥ | tvāṃ dūtam aratiṃ havyavāhaṃ devā akṛṇvann amṛtasya nābhim ||

English translation:

Jātavedas, we venerate you, glorifying the brilliant, beautiful, adorable Agni; the gods have made you their messenger, the disinterested bearer of oblations, the centre of ambrosia.”
