निरि॑न्द्र॒ भूम्या॒ अधि॑ वृ॒त्रं ज॑घन्थ॒ निर्दि॒वः । सृ॒जा म॒रुत्व॑ती॒रव॑ जी॒वध॑न्या इ॒मा अ॒पोऽर्च॒न्ननु॑ स्व॒राज्य॑म् ॥
निरिन्द्र भूम्या अधि वृत्रं जघन्थ निर्दिवः । सृजा मरुत्वतीरव जीवधन्या इमा अपोऽर्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥
nir indra bhūmyā adhi vṛtraṃ jaghantha nir divaḥ | sṛjā marutvatīr ava jīvadhanyā imā apo 'rcann anu svarājyam ||

English translation:

“Youu have struck Vṛtra from off the earth and from heaven; (now) let loose the wind-bound, life-sustaining rain, manifesting your own sovereignty.”
