The Garga-samhita Verse 6.18.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 18 (In the Course of Describing the Glories of Siddhashrama, a Description of the Rasa-dance Festival) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

श्री-नारद उवाच
श्री-राधायाः परां प्रीतिं
ज्ञत्वा गोपी-गणस्य च
ऊचुर् हरिं राज-पुत्र्यस्
तद्-रास-प्रेक्षणोत्सुकाः

śrī-nārada uvāca
śrī-rādhāyāḥ parāṃ prītiṃ
jñatvā gopī-gaṇasya ca
ūcur hariṃ rāja-putryas
tad-rāsa-prekṣaṇotsukāḥ

śrī-nārada uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; śrī-rādhāyāḥ—of Śrī Rādhā; parām—the great; prītim—love; j 24atvā—understanding; gopī-gaṇasya—of the gopīs; ca—and; ūcuḥ—said; harim—to Lord Kṛṣṇa; rāja-putryaḥ—the queens; tad-rāsathe rāsa dance; prekṣaṇato see; utsukāḥ—eager.

English translation of verse 6.18.1:

Śrī Nārada said: Now understanding the great love Rādhā and the gopīs bear for Lord Kṛṣṇa, the queens, eager to see the rāsa dance, spoke to Lord Kṛṣṇa.
