तत्रैव भगवान् साक्षाद्
यादवैः परिमण्डितः
स्त्रीणां षोडश-साहस्रैर्
यात्रार्थं चाययौ नृप

tatraiva bhagavān sākṣād
yādavaiḥ parimaṇḍitaḥ
strīṇāṃ ṣoḍaśa-sāhasrair
yātrārthaṃ cāyayau nṛpa

tatra—there; eva—indeed; bhagavānthe Supreme Personality of Godhead; sākṣātdirectly; yādavaiḥ—with the Yādavas; parimaṇḍitaḥ—decorated; strīṇām—of the wives; ṣoḍaśa-sāhasraiḥ—with sixteen thousand; yātrārtham—to go on pilgrimage; ca—and; āyayau—went; nṛpaO king.

English translation of verse 6.16.8:

O king, accompanied by His sixteen-thousand queens and all His relatives in the Yādava dynasty, Lord Kṛṣṇa also went on a pilgrimage to Siddhāśrama.
