The Garga-samhita Verse 6.10.39, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 6 of Chapter 10 (In the Description of the Gomati River, the Glories of Cakra-tirtha) of Canto 6 (dvaraka-khanda).

श्री-मुनिर् उवाच
घण्टानाद महा-दुश्ट
पाप-बुद्धे ऽति-लुब्धक
ग्राहवत् त्वं धन-ग्राही
ग्राहो भव महा-खल

śrī-munir uvāca
ghaṇṭānāda mahā-duśṭa
pāpa-buddhe 'ti-lubdhaka
grāhavat tvaṃ dhana-grāhī
grāho bhava mahā-khala

śrī-munir uvāca-the sage said; ghaṇṭānāda—O Ghantanada; mahā-duśṭa—wicked; pāpa-buddhe—sinful; ati-lubdhakavery greedy; grāhavat—like a crocodile; tvam—you; dhana-grāhīgrasping for wealth; grāhaḥ—a crocodile; bhava become; mahā-khalaO wretch.

English translation of verse 6.10.39:

Śrī Durvāsā said: Sinful, wicked, greedy Ghaṇṭānāda, you clutch at wealth as crocodile would clutch. I curse you: Become a crocodile!
