यत्र रामेण गङ्गायां
कृतं स्नानं विदेह-राड्
तत्र तीर्थं महा-पुण्यं
राम-तीर्थं विदुर् बुधाः
yatra rāmeṇa gaṅgāyāṃ
kṛtaṃ snānaṃ videha-rāḍ
tatra tīrthaṃ mahā-puṇyaṃ
rāma-tīrthaṃ vidur budhāḥ
yatra—where; rāmeṇa—with Balarāma; gaṅgāyām—in the Ganges; kṛtam—done; snānam—bath; videha-rāḍ—O king of Videha; tatra—there; tīrtham—holy place; mahā-puṇyam—very sacred; rāma-tīrtham—Rāma-tīrtha; viduḥ—know; budhāḥ—the wise;
English translation of verse 5.24.47:
O king of Videha, this very sacred place, where Rāma bathed in the Ganges, the wise know as Rāma-tīrtha.
