The Garga-samhita Verse 5.18.21, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 18 (Uddhava Hears the Gopis’ Words and Returns to Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

अश्रु-प्रवाहं मुञ्चन्तीं
कृष्ण-दर्शन-लालसाम्
उद्धवो विस्मयन् प्राह
राधां कमल-लोचनाम्

aśru-pravāhaṃ muñcantīṃ
kṛṣṇa-darśana-lālasām
uddhavo vismayan prāha
rādhāṃ kamala-locanām

aśru-pravāham—a stream of tears; muñcantīm—shedding; kṛṣṇa-darśana-lālasām—yearning to see Kṛṣṇa; uddhavaḥUddhava; vismayan—astonished; prāha—said; rādhām—to Rādhā; kamala-locanām—lotus-eyed.

English translation of verse 5.18.21:

Filled with wonder, Uddhava spoke to lotus-eyed Rādhā who, yearning to see Kṛṣṇa, shed streams of tears.
