ग्र्हन पत्रम् निज-नथ-दत्तम् चोकम् परम् म कुरु रधिके त्वम् ह्रस्वेन कलेन विधय कर्यम् तत्रगमिस्यमि तद्-उक्त-वक्यम्

grhana patram nija-natha-dattam cokam param ma kuru radhike tvam hrasvena kalena vidhaya karyam tatragamisyami tad-ukta-vakyam

grhana—please take; patram—letter; nija-natha-dattam—given by Your Lord; cokam—lament; param—great; ma—don't; kurudo; radhike—O Radha; tvam—You; hrasvena—soon; kalena—time; vidhaya—placing; karyam—duty; tatra—there; agamisyami—I will return; tad-ukta-vakyam—His words.

English translation of verse 5.15.40:

O Radha, please take this letter. Don't lament. Krsna said, "Soon I will finish My duties here. Then I will return."
