The Garga-samhita Verse 5.14.17, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. च्रुत्वोद्धवम् स्रि-मथुर-पुरगतम् कपतम् एत्यचु यचोमति सति च्र्न्वन्त्य् अलम् स्वस्य सुतस्य वर्ननम् स्नेह-स्रवत्-सु-स्तन-नेत्र-पग्कज

crutvoddhavam sri-mathura-puragatam kapatam etyacu yacomati sati crnvanty alam svasya sutasya varnanam sneha-sravat-su-stana-netra-pagkaja

crutva—hearing; uddhavam—Uddhava; sri-mathura-puragatam—had come from Mathura; kapatam—at the door; etyacoming; acu—at once; yacomati—Yacoda; satichaste; crnvanti—hearing; alamgreatly; svasya—own; sutasya—of the son; varnanam—the sdescription; snehalove; sravatflowing; su-stanafrom her breasts; netra-pagkaja—and lotus eyes.

English translation of verse 5.14.17:

Hearing that Uddhava had come from Mathura City, saintly Yacoda rushed to the door. Milk flowing from her breasts and tears flowing from her lotus eyes, she overheard the description of her son.
