The Garga-samhita Verse 5.14.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. स्रि-नन्द-नेत्रम्बुज-वरि-सन्तति रजम्स् तद क्र्स्न-सखस्य पच्यतह् चय्यम् स-वस्त्रम् उपबर्हनन्तम् क्र्त्वर्द्रतम् प्रग्गन अचचल स्रि

sri-nanda-netrambuja-vari-santati rajams tada krsna-sakhasya pacyatah cayyam sa-vastram upabarhanantam krtvardratam praggana acacala sri

nandaof Nanda; netrambuja-vari-santatith etears; rajamh—O king; tadathen; krsnaof Sri Krsna; sakhasya—of the friend; pacyatah—looking; cayyam—on the couch; sa-vastram—with his cloth; upabarhanantam—at the edge of the pillow; krtva—making; ardratam—wet; praggane—- in the courtyard; acacala -walked.

English translation of verse 5.14.16:

As Krsna's friend Uddhava looked on, King Nanda drenched the pillow, his garments, and the chair with tears from his eyes. Then Nanda went into the courtyard.
