The Garga-samhita Verse 5.14.15, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 14 (The Meeting of King Nanda and Uddhava) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

स्रि-नरद उवच सम्स्म्र्त्य सम्स्म्र्त्य हरिम् परेचम् बभुव तुस्निम् नव-नन्द-रजह् चिरो निधयप्य् उपबर्हने स्वे ह्य् उत्कन्थ-रोमन्चित-विह्वलग्गह् स्रि-नरद

sri-narada uvaca samsmrtya samsmrtya harim parecam babhuva tusnim nava-nanda-rajah ciro nidhayapy upabarhane sve hy utkantha-romancita-vihvalaggah sri-narada

uvaca—Sri Narada said; samsmrtya—remembering; samsmrtya—and remembering; harim—Krsna; parecam—the Supreme Personality of Godhead; babhuva—became; tusnimsilence; nava-nanda-rajah—King Nanda; cirah—head; nidhayaplacing; api—also; upabarhane—on the cushion; sve—own; hi—indeed; utkantha-romancita-vihvalaggah—the hairs of his body erect with longing.

English translation of verse 5.14.15:

Sri Narada said: Thinking again and again of Lord Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, King Nanda became silent. The hairs of his body erect with his longing to see Krsna, he rested his head on a pillow.
