The Garga-samhita Verse 5.10.10, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 10 (The Stories of the Washerman, Weaver, and Florist) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

श्री-बहुलाश्व उवाच
पुरा वै वायकः को ऽपि
नितरां मुनि-सत्तम
यस्मै ददौ च सारूप्यं
श्री-कृष्णो भगवान् हरिः

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca
purā vai vāyakaḥ ko 'pi
nitarāṃ muni-sattama
yasmai dadau ca sārūpyaṃ
śrī-kṛṣṇo bhagavān hariḥ

śrī-bahulāśva uvāca—Śrī Bahulāśva said; purābefore; vai—indeed; vāyakaḥ—the weaver; kaḥ—who?; api—also; nitarām—greatly; muni-sattamaO best of sages; yasmai—to whom; dadau—gave; ca—and; sārūpyam—a form like His; śrī-kṛṣṇaḥŚrī Kṛṣṇa; bhagavānthe Supreme Personality of Godhead; hariḥ—Kṛṣṇa.

English translation of verse 5.10.10:

Śrī Bahulāśva said: O best of sages, in his previous life who was the weaver that received from Lord Kṛṣṇa a transcendental form like His own?
