The Garga-samhita Verse 5.7.53, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 7 (The Killing of Kuvalayapida) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

अहो ह्य् अभाग्यं हि पुरौकसां नो
युद्धे तयोर् दर्शनम् अद्य जातम्
अहो ऽति-धन्यं बत भूरि-भाग्यं
वनौकसां रास-रसेन जातम्

aho hy abhāgyaṃ hi puraukasāṃ no
yuddhe tayor darśanam adya jātam
aho 'ti-dhanyaṃ bata bhūri-bhāgyaṃ
vanaukasāṃ rāsa-rasena jātam

ahaḥ—Oh; hy—indeed; abhāgyam—ill fortune; hi—indeed; puraukasām—of the people in the city; naḥ—not; yuddhe—in the fight; tayoḥ—of Them; darśanam—in the sight; adyanow; jātam—born; ahaḥ—Oh; ati-dhanyam—great good fortune; bata—indeed; bhūri-bhāgyam—great good fortune; vanaukasām—of the people of the forest; rāsa-rasena—by the nectar pastimes of the rasa-dance; jātam—born.

English translation of verse 5.7.53:

The people of Mathurā City are very unfortunate that they must see such a fight. The girls in the forest were fortunate. They could taste the nectar of the rāsa-dance with Lord Kṛṣṇa.
