The Garga-samhita Verse 5.5.22, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 5 (Shri Krishna’s Entrance Into Mathura) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

अथापराह्ने स-बलं
गोविन्दं बालकैः पुरीम्
द्रष्टुम् अभ्युदितं वीक्ष्य
नन्दो वाक्यम् अथाब्रवीत्

athāparāhne sa-balaṃ
govindaṃ bālakaiḥ purīm
draṣṭum abhyuditaṃ vīkṣya
nando vākyam athābravīt

athathen; aparāhne—in the afternoon; sa-balam—with Balarāma; govindam—Kṛṣṇa; bālakaiḥ—with the boys; purīm—the city; draṣṭum—to see; abhyuditam—eager; vīkṣyaseeing; nandaḥNanda; vākyam—words; atha—then; abravīt—spoke.

English translation of verse 5.5.22:

Noticing that afternoon that Kṛṣṇa, Balarāma, and the boys were eager to see Mathurā City, Nanda spoke the following words.
