The Garga-samhita Verse 5.5.16, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. पुरस्योपवने तत्र
वीक्ष्य नन्दं यदूत्तमः
अक्रूरं प्राह विहसन्
मेघ-गम्भीरया गिरा

purasyopavane tatra
vīkṣya nandaṃ yadūttamaḥ
akrūraṃ prāha vihasan
megha-gambhīrayā girā

purasya—of ther city; upavane—in the gardens; tatra—there; vīkṣyaseeing; nandam—Nanda; yadūttamaḥ—the best of the Yādavas; akrūram—to Akrūra; prāha—said; vihasan—smiling; megha-gambhīrayā—like thunder; girāwith words.

English translation of verse 5.5.16:

When He saw Nanda there in Mathurā's gardens, Lord Kṛṣṇa smiled and spoke to Akrūra with words like thunder.
