The Garga-samhita Verse 5.1.11, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 5 of Chapter 1 (Advice to Kamsa) of Canto 5 (mathura-khanda).

चाणूरादीन् समाहूय
महा-मात्रं द्विपस्य च
कार्य-भार-कराल् लोकान्
प्राहेदं भोज-राड् बली

cāṇūrādīn samāhūya
mahā-mātraṃ dvipasya ca
kārya-bhāra-karāl lokān
prāhedaṃ bhoja-rāḍ balī

cāṇūrādīn—headed by Canmura; samāhūya—calling; mahā-mātram—the elephant trainer; dvipasya—of the elephant; ca—and; kārya-bhāra-karān—servants; lokān—people; prāha—said; idam—this; bhoja-rāḍ—Kaṃsa; balīpowerful Kaṃsa.

English translation of verse 5.1.11:

Calling together his many servants, headed by Cāṇūra and his elephant-trainer, Kaṃsa spoke to them the following words.
