आच्वास्य सर्वान् भगवान् गतवान् वारुनिम् पुरिम् भस्मि-चकार सहसा पुरि-दुर्गम् हरिः स्वयम्
ācvāsya sarvān bhagavān gatavān vārunim purim bhasmi-cakāra sahasā puri-durgam hariḥ svayam
ācvāsya—comforting; sarvān—everyone; bhagavān—the Lord; gatavān—went; vārunim purim—to the city of Varuna; bhasmi-cakāra—turning to ashes; sahasā—at once; puri-durgam—the fortress; hariḥ—Krsna; svayam—Himself.
English translation of verse 4.22.3:
After reassuring everyone, Lord Krsna traveled to Varuna's city. There He quickly burned to ashes the city's outer walls.
