The Garga-samhita Verse 4.11.5, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 4 of Chapter 11 (The Story of the Gopis That were Residents of Rama-vaikuntha, Shvetadvipa, Urdhva-vaikuntha, Ajita-pada, and Shri Lokacala) of Canto 4 (madhurya-khanda).

Sanskrit text, transliteration and word-by-word meaning:

चिन्तयन्त्यः सदा श्रीमद्-
गोविन्द-चरणाम्बुजम्
श्री-कृष्णस्य प्रसादार्थं
ताभिर् माघ-व्रतं कृतम्

cintayantyaḥ sadā śrīmad-
govinda-caraṇāmbujam
śrī-kṛṣṇasya prasādārthaṃ
tābhir māgha-vrataṃ kṛtam

cintayantyaḥ—meditating; sadāalways; śrīmad-govinda-caraṇāmbujam—on Lord Kṛṣṇa's lotus feet; śrī-kṛṣṇasya—of Lord Kṛṣṇa; prasādārtham—to gain the favor; tābhiḥ—by them; māgha-vratam—the vow of Magha; kṛtam—was performed.

English translation of verse 4.11.5:

Always thinking of Lord Kṛṣṇa's lotus feet, to gain His favor they followed the vow of Māgha-vrata.
