The Garga-samhita Verse 3.5.26, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 3 of Chapter 5 (The Dispute Among the Gopas) of Canto 3 (giriraja-khanda).

श्री-वृषभानु-वर उवाच
को दोषो नन्द-राजस्य
ज्ञातेस् त्वं सन्त्यजाम्य् अहम्
गोपेष्टो ज्ञाति-मुकुटो
नन्द-राजो मम प्रियः

śrī-vṛṣabhānu-vara uvāca
ko doṣo nanda-rājasya
jñātes tvaṃ santyajāmy aham
gopeṣṭo jñāti-mukuṭo
nanda-rājo mama priyaḥ

śrī-vṛṣabhānu-vara uvāca—King Vṛṣabhānu said; kaḥ—what?; doṣaḥis the fault; nanda-rājasya—of King Nanda; jñāteḥ—of the kinsman; tvam—you; santyajāmy—I shall abandon; aham—I; gopeṣṭaḥ—worshiped by the gopas; jñātiof the family; mukuṭaḥ—the crown; nanda-rājaḥ—King Nanda; mama—to me; priyaḥ—dear.

English translation of verse 3.5.26:

Śrī Vṛṣabhānu said: What wrong has King Nanda done that I should sever my ties of friendship with him? King Nanda is worshiped by the gopas. He is the crown that gloriously decorates our community. He is my dear friend.
