The Garga-samhita Verse 2.16.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 16 (The Worship of Tulasi) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

तुलसी-मञ्जरी-युक्तो
यस् तु प्राणान् विमुञ्चति
यमो ऽपि नेक्षितुं शक्तो
युक्तं पाप-शतैर् अपि

tulasī-mañjarī-yukto
yas tu prāṇān vimuñcati
yamo 'pi nekṣituṃ śakto
yuktaṃ pāpa-śatair api

tulasī-mañjarī-yuktaḥwith a Tulasī-ma 24jarī; yaḥ—one whop; tu—indeed; prāṇān—life; vimuñcatiabandons; yamaḥ—Yamarāja; api—even; na—not; īkṣitum—to see; śaktaḥ—is able; yuktam—endowed; pāpaof sins; śataiḥ—with hundreds; api—even.

English translation of verse 2.16.14:

Even though stained with a hundred sins, a person who touches a Tulasī-mañjarī as he leaves this life does not see Yamarāja.
