The Garga-samhita Verse 2.11.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 11 (The Liberation of Dhenukasura) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

धेनुकस्य भयाद् गोपा
न गतास् ते वनान्तरम्
कृष्णो ऽपि न गतस् तत्र
बल एको विवेश ह

dhenukasya bhayād gopā
na gatās te vanāntaram
kṛṣṇo 'pi na gatas tatra
bala eko viveśa ha

dhenukasya—of an ass; bhayāt—out of fear; gopāthe gopas; na—not; gatāḥ—went; te—they; vanāntaram—to the forest; kṛṣṇaḥKṛṣṇa; api—even; na—not; gataḥ—wednt; tatra—there; balaBalarāma; ekaḥ—alone; viveśa—entered; ha—indeed.

English translation of verse 2.11.2:

Out of fear of an ass, Dhenuka, the gopas did not enter that forest. Even Kṛṣṇa did not enter. Only Balarāma entered.
