The Garga-samhita Verse 2.4.28, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-नारद उवाच
तदैव वत्स-रूपो ऽभून्
मुरु-पुत्रो महासुरः
वसिष्ठं गां परिक्रम्य
नत्वा त्राहीत्य् उवाच ह

śrī-nārada uvāca
tadaiva vatsa-rūpo 'bhūn
muru-putro mahāsuraḥ
vasiṣṭhaṃ gāṃ parikramya
natvā trāhīty uvāca ha

śrī-nāradaḥ uvāca—Śrī Nārada said; tadāthen; eva—indeed; vatsa-rūpaḥthe form of a calf; abhūt—became; muru-putraḥthe son of Muru; mahāsuraḥ—a great demon; vasiṣṭham—Vasiṣṭha; gām—the cow; parikramya—circumambulating; natvā—bowing down; trāhiplease protect; iti—thus; uvāca—said; ha—certainly.

English translation of verse 2.4.28:

The great demon that was Muru's son at once became a calf. He circumambulated Vasiṣṭha and the cow, bowed down, and said, "Please save me!"
