The Garga-samhita Verse 2.1.54, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 2 of Chapter 1 (Description of the Entrance in Vrindavana) of Canto 2 (vrindavana-khanda).

श्री-सन्नन्द उवाच
तच् छ्रुत्वा विस्मिता पृथ्वी
गत-माना बभूव ह
तस्मान् नन्द महा-बाहो
व्रजो ऽयं सर्वतो ऽधिकः

śrī-sannanda uvāca
tac chrutvā vismitā pṛthvī
gata-mānā babhūva ha
tasmān nanda mahā-bāho
vrajo 'yaṃ sarvato 'dhikaḥ

śrī-sannandaḥ uvāca—Śrī Sannanda said; tac—that; śrutvāheart; vismitāastonished; pṛthvīthe earth; gata-mānāwhose pride was gone; babhūva ha—became; tasmān—from that; nandaO Nanda; mahā-bāhaḥO great-armed one; vrajaḥVraja; ayamthis; sarvataḥ—than all; adhikaḥ—greater.

English translation of verse 2.1.54:

Śrī Sannanda said: Hearing this the earth-goddess became both astonished and prideless. O great-armed Nanda, for this reason Vraja is the best of all places.
