The Garga-samhita Verse 1.14.14, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-बाला ऊचुः
प्रेङ्ख-स्थो ऽयं क्षिपन् पादौ
रुदन् दुग्धार्थम् एव हि
तताड पादं शकटे
तेनेदं पतितं खलु

śrī-bālā ūcuḥ
preṅkha-stho 'yaṃ kṣipan pādau
rudan dugdhārtham eva hi
tatāḍa pādaṃ śakaṭe
tenedaṃ patitaṃ khalu

śrī-bālāḥ ūcuḥ—the children said; preṅkha—on the cradle; sthaḥsituated; ayamHe; kṣipan—kicking; pādau—both feet; rudan—crying; dugdhamilk; arthamfor the purpose; eva—indeed; hi—certainly; tatāḍa—struck; pādam—on foot; śakaṭe—on the cart; tena—by that; idam—it; patitam—fell; khalucertainly.

English translation of verse 1.14.14:

The children said: Staying in the cradle, crying for milk, and kicking His feet, the child hit the cart with one foot and it fell.
