The Garga-samhita Verse 1.4.34, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. श्री-भगवान् उवाच
ताश् च गोप्यो भविष्यन्ति
पूर्व-कल्प-वरान् मम
अन्यासां चैव गोपीनां
लक्षणं शृणु तद् विधे

śrī-bhagavān uvāca
tāś ca gopyo bhaviṣyanti
pūrva-kalpa-varān mama
anyāsāṃ caiva gopīnāṃ
lakṣaṇaṃ śṛṇu tad vidhe

śrī-bhagavān uvāca—the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; tāḥ—they; ca—also; gopyaḥgopīs; bhaviṣyantiwill become; pūrvaprevious; kalpafrom the kalpa; varān—benedictions; mama—My; anyāsām—of other; ca—also; eva—certainly; gopīnām—gopīs; lakṣaṇam—characteristics; śṛṇu—please hear; tat—that; vidhe—O Brahmā.

English translation of verse 1.4.34:

The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Because of the previous kalpa's benediction they will become gopīs. O Brahmā, now hear the description of the other gopīs.
