वृषभानुः स उक्तो यो
दश-लक्ष-गवां पतिः
गवां कोटिर् गृहे यस्य
नन्द-राजः स एव हि

vṛṣabhānuḥ sa ukto yo
daśa-lakṣa-gavāṃ patiḥ
gavāṃ koṭir gṛhe yasya
nanda-rājaḥ sa eva hi

vṛṣabhānuḥVṛṣabhānu; saḥ—he; uktaḥsaid; yaḥ—who; daśa-lakṣaone million; gavām—of cows; patiḥthe master; gavām—of cows; koṭiḥ—ten million; gṛhe—in the home; yasya—of whom; nanda-rājaḥ—King Nanda; saḥ—he; eva—certainly; hi—indeed.

English translation of verse 1.4.6:

They say that Vṛṣabhānu is the master of a million cows and at King Nanda's home are ten million cows.
