कोट्य्-अर्धं च गवां यस्य
वृषभानु-वरस् तु सः
एतादृशौ व्रजे द्वौ तु
सुचन्द्रो द्रोण एव हि

koṭy-ardhaṃ ca gavāṃ yasya
vṛṣabhānu-varas tu saḥ
etādṛśau vraje dvau tu
sucandro droṇa eva hi

koṭi-ardham—five million; ca—and; gavām—of cows; yasya—of whom; vṛṣabhānu-varaḥ—Vṛṣabhānu; tu—indeed; saḥ—he; etādṛśau—like this; vraje—in Vraja; dvau—two; tu—indeed; sucandraḥSucandra; droṇaḥDroṇa; eva—indeed; hi—certainly.

English translation of verse 1.4.7:

Vṛṣabhānuvara has five million cows, and Sucandra and Droṇa in Vraja each have that number.
