The Garga-samhita Verse 1.2.2, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 2 (Description of the Abode of Shri Goloka) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

अथ ते सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि
श्री-कृष्णागमनं भुवि
अस्मिन् वाराह-कल्पे वै
यद् भूतं तच् छृणु प्रभो

atha te sampravakṣyāmi
śrī-kṛṣṇāgamanaṃ bhuvi
asmin vārāha-kalpe vai
yad bhūtaṃ tac chṛṇu prabho

athanow; te—to you; sampravakṣyāmi—I will speak; śrī-kṛṣṇaof Śrī Kṛṣṇa; āgamanam—the arrival; bhuvi—on the earth; asmin—this; vārāha-kalpe—in the Varāha-kalpa; vai—indeed; yat—what; bhūtam—was; tat—that; śṛṇu—please hear; prabhaḥ—O lord.

English translation of verse 1.2.2:

Now I will describe to you Śrī Kṛṣṇa's coming to this earth during the Varāha-kalpa. O lord, please hear what happened.
