The Garga-samhita Verse 1.2.1, English translation, including word-by-word: This text represents a Vaishnava scripture which narrates the life Krishna, It was composed in seventeen cantos by Garga Muni: an ancient sage and priest of the Yadu dynasty having. This is verse 1 of Chapter 2 (Description of the Abode of Shri Goloka) of Canto 1 (goloka-khanda).

जिह्वां लब्ध्वापि यः कृष्णम्
कीर्तनीयं न कीर्तयेत्
लब्ध्वापि मोक्ष-निश्रेणिं
स नारोहति दुर्मतिः

jihvāṃ labdhvāpi yaḥ kṛṣṇam
kīrtanīyaṃ na kīrtayet
labdhvāpi mokṣa-niśreṇiṃ
sa nārohati durmatiḥ

jihvām—toungue; labdhvā—attaining; api—also; yaḥ—who; kṛṣṇam—Śrī Kṛṣṇa; kīrtanīyam—to be glorified; na—not; kīrtayet—glorifies; labdhvā—attaining; api—also; mokṣa-of liberation; niśreṇim—staircase; saḥ—he; na—not; ārohati—climbs; durmatiḥ—fool.

English translation of verse 1.2.1:

A person who has a tongue but does not glorify glorious Śrī Kṛṣṇa is a fool.

Even if he somehow approaches the staircase to liberation, he cannot climb it.
