The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Sulba-sutra with the commentaries of Kapardin, Karavinda and Sundararaja. The Sulbasutras are considered Vedic appendices and deals with the ancient Indian science of Mathematics and Geometry, by instructing the construction of fire-altars, among others. yajamānamātrī prācy aparimitā yathāsannāni havīṃṣi saṃbhaved evaṃ tiraścī prāñcau vedyaṃsāv unnayati | pratīcī śroṇī purastād aṃhīyasī paścāt prathīyasī madhye saṃnatataraivam iva hi yoṣeti dārśikyā veder vijñāyate || ĀpŚus_4.5 ||

yajamāmātrī ṣaṇṇavatyaṅgulā prāktvenāpari mitā / tadadhikā prācī prāṅmukhā, saṃbhavo vyāptiḥ, yathā havīṃṣi parasparasaṃbandhena āsannāni bhavanti tathā tiraśvī tiryaṅbhānī syāt, āyāmasya tribhāgonā paścattiraśvī / "āyāmāsyārdhena purastāttiraśvī' iti bodhāyanaḥ / paśubandhe ca tathā dṛśyate, aratnibhirvā caturbhiḥ paścāt ṣaḍbhiḥ prācī tribhiḥ purastāditi, vikṛtiṣu vahuhaviḥṣu bhahuvistārā, alpahaviḥ ṣu prakṛtivat / prāñcau vedyaṃsāvunnayati prāktvena pūrvāntamatītāvaṃsau kuryāt pratīcī śroṇī tathā pṛthaktvena śroṇyākuryāt aṃhīyasī--tanvī prathīyasī-- vistīrṇā sannatatarā atiśayena tanuḥ, evamiva hi yoṣeti / evamivahīti śabdo nipātasamudāyaḥ prasiddhavacanaḥ / yathā--evamiva hi paśuḥ, evamiva hyannamadyata iti / etadeva hi yoṣā sādṛśyamasyāḥ / yanmadhye kṛśatvaṃ pṛthvaṃsatvaṃ pṛthutaraśroṇītvaṃ ca / etat "catuḥśikhaṇḍā yuvatiḥsupeśā' iti mantravarṇācca labhyeta, dārśikyā vedeḥ darśapurṇamāsayoḥsādhāraṇā' pi vediḥ darśe pūrvedyurddaśyatayā dārśikītyucyate / yadvā--darśapūrṇamāsayorekaśeṣaṃ kṛtvā nirdeśaḥ,

sundararājīyā vyākhyā

yajamānamātrī caturaratniḥ pañcāratnirvā yathā'sannāni havīṣi saṃbhavet saṃgṛhṇīyāt / evaṃ tiraśvī ardhalakṣaṇaṃ tiryagityarthaḥ / unnayati dīrghaṃ nayati / pratīcī pratīcyā yoṣāsādṛśyaṃ ca "catuḥśikhaṇḍā' iti mantravarṇāt darśikyāḥ-- darśapūrṇamāsikyāḥ /
