The Sanskrit edition of the Apastamba Grihya-sutra with the commentaries of Haradatta (called the Anakula-vritti) and Sudarshana (called the Grihyatatparyadarshana-vyakhya). The Apastamba Grihyasutra is a short treatise on Vedic rituals which, together with the Hiranyakeshin-grihya-sutra, belongs to the Taittiriya School of the Black Yajur-Veda. teṣāmapavargo'pi tathā pratyetavyaḥ /
purastādudagvetyarthaḥ /
apavargaḥ parisamāptiḥ /
na cātra upakrāmāpavargayoḥ samānabhidaṃ niyamanaṃ kriyate-purastādupakrānte tatraiva samāpyaṃ udagārabhyaṃ ca tatraiveti /
kiṃ tarhi yathāsaṃbhavaṃ pravṛttiḥ tadyathā paristaraṇasya purastādupakrāntasya tatraivāpavargāsambavādudagapavargaḥ /
tatrāpavargavidherānarthakyaṃ, śrauteṣveva paribhāṣitatvāt"prāgapavargāṇyudagapavargāṇi ve"ti (āpa.pa.2-15) /

ucyate /
yadyapavargavidhiḥ punariha nārabhyate, apareṇāgniṃ dve kuṭī kṛtve'(āpa.gṛ.19-14). tyatra dakṣiṇāpavargatā prāpnoti, atropakramasyodaggatatvaniyamāt /
ato vipratiṣedhe apavargabalīyastvaṃ yathā syādityayamārambhaḥ /
anyathā pradakṣiṇaparibhāṣayā sāmānyaparibhāṣā bādhyate kiñciddaivāni karmāṇīti tatra viśeṣitam /
atra mānuṣeṣu karmādiṣvapi prāpyartho'pavarganiyamaḥ //

nanu-'purastādudagvopakramaḥ'iti vidhereva samantapariṣekādāvarthasiddhatvānnārabdhavyaṃ'tatāpavargaḥ, iti /
naḥ anārabhyamāṇo'smin sūtre prācīlekhotpavanāderudīcīlekhā(1) kuṭīkaraṇādeścāpavargaḥ pratyak dakṣiṇā ca syāt /

atastadvādhanāyedamārabdhavyameva /

kecit- prācīnānāṃ lekhānāmudagupakramaḥ, udīcīnānāṃ ca prāgapavargaḥ, agniparistaraṇavadubhayāvidhyasambhavāt (2) iti //
