This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 89.39

प्रासादगर्भनिलया कुमारिका + + + तदा आसि ।
मृगिका व त्वरितत्वरिता ओलोकनका निधावन्ति ॥ ३९ ॥

prāsādagarbhanilayā kumārikā + + + tadā āsi |
mṛgikā va tvaritatvaritā olokanakā nidhāvanti || 39 ||

Young women are there in the inner chamber of the palace... hurriedly running like fawns to the windows. (39)
