The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

ऋतुर्ऋत्वन्तरेणेव सरितेवाल्पिका सरित् ।
वातेनामोदलेखेव धूमलेखेव वार्मुचा ॥ १० ॥

ṛturṛtvantareṇeva saritevālpikā sarit |
vātenāmodalekheva dhūmalekheva vārmucā || 10 ||

My consciousness was joined with his in the same manner, as one season joins with another (at its end); or as the confluence of two rivers runs together, and as the smoke mixes with the clouds, or the wind carries the fragrance of flowers with it.
