The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.125.53

तद्यथास्थितमेवास्तु इह इत्यस्तवासनम् ।
हरिर्निरिच्छ एवास्ते शुद्धचिन्मात्ररूपभृत् ॥ ५३ ॥

tadyathāsthitamevāstu iha ityastavāsanam |
harirniriccha evāste śuddhacinmātrarūpabhṛt || 53 ||

Therefore let a man remain in whatever state he may be, without having any desire of his own; because the god Hari is without any desire in himself, being the form of pure Intellect or Intelligence only.
