The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

धराधरदरीरन्तःप्रतिश्रुत्प्रोतगर्जितम् ।
अर्जितं प्राणसर्वस्वमर्जयद्भिरुपार्जितम् ॥ ४२ ॥

dharādharadarīrantaḥpratiśrutprotagarjitam |
arjitaṃ prāṇasarvasvamarjayadbhirupārjitam || 42 ||

The hollow sounding caves of mountains, resounded to the loud shouts of warriors; who were ready to expose their dear lives and dearly earned vigour in the battle field.
