The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

हेतिसंघट्टनिष्क्रान्तज्वालाप्रज्वलिताम्बरम् ।
वलीपलितनिर्मुक्तशूराक्रान्तत्रिविष्टपम् ॥ १८ ॥
hetisaṃghaṭṭaniṣkrāntajvālāprajvalitāmbaram |
valīpalitanirmuktaśūrākrāntatriviṣṭapam || 18 ||
The sky was set on fire, by the flames issuing forth from the clashing arms; and the celestial regions were filled with the deified souls of departed heroes, now released from the fetters of their wrinkled and decaying frames of earth.
