The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्वाद्यन्तां रसजालानि विगतेच्छाभयैषणम् ।
अपरागाभिलषणं यथाप्राप्तानि दर्विवत् ॥ १८ ॥

svādyantāṃ rasajālāni vigatecchābhayaiṣaṇam |
aparāgābhilaṣaṇaṃ yathāprāptāni darvivat || 18 ||

You may relish the various flavours, which are offered to you; and take them to your mouth in the manner of a spoon without wishing for or taking a delight in their sweet taste.
