The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

स्पृश्यन्तां स्पर्शनीयानि यथाप्राप्तान्यवासनम् ।
कूटागारवदक्षुब्धमनिच्छममनोदयम् ॥ १७ ॥

spṛśyantāṃ sparśanīyāni yathāprāptānyavāsanam |
kūṭāgāravadakṣubdhamanicchamamanodayam || 17 ||

Touch the tangibles as they come to thee without thy desiring them;and remain in thy solitary cell without thy wishing for or minding about them, or grieving at their want.
