The Sanskrit edition of the Yoga-vasistha including English translation and grammatical analysis. The Yogavasistha is a Hindu spiritual text written by Valmiki (who also authored the Ramayana) dealing with the philosophical topics from the Advaita-vedanta school. Chronologically it precedes the Ramayana.

Verse 7.29.36

प्रतियोगिव्यवच्छेदसंख्यातीतादिविभ्रमैः ।
स च सर्वोऽन्वितः साधो भा इव त्रसरेणुभिः ॥ ३६ ॥

pratiyogivyavacchedasaṃkhyātītādivibhramaiḥ |
sa ca sarvo'nvitaḥ sādho bhā iva trasareṇubhiḥ || 36 ||

The ego being the counterpart or privation of all representation, is inexpressible by representative sounds and words; and being beyond the predicates of number and other categories, is not predicable by any of them or other fiction of fancy. It is the totality of all, as light is composed of innumerable particles of ray.
